The investiture ceremony of the ‘Student Council’ of St. Xavier’s High School Loyola Hall, Ahmedabad was held on 7th July, 2015. Twenty-two Councilors and Monitors were sworn-in, in an impressive ceremony held at the Br. Bou Pavilion. The aim of the ‘Student Council’, is to foster qualities of leadership and responsibility in the students and to co-ordinate with the Management and the Staff in the smooth functioning of the school activities. The programme commenced with an apt hymn for the occasion.
“You are the salt of the Earth
You are the light of the World”
The Chief Guest, Mrs. Ingrid de Rozario, Headmistress of the Primary Section, spoke at length on leadership and service.
The president of the Student Council and the Principal, Rev. Fr. Durai, administered the oath and the pledge respectfully.
The members promised to uphold the integrity of the school and work with dedication and loyalty and for the greater glory of God. After the programme, refreshments were served to the Student Council members and the Staff.
